1. What are ethics? For The "More Ethical Stituations" sheet, How did you rate each? Why?
Ethics are whether you think something is fine to do or not, or its criminal. I rated case 1 as unethical. Because he should do something about his work during his work time.
2. What are Values? List your top values.
Values are things whether its more important or less important to you. In the sheet, I rated family, education, environment and life style are most important to me. Because family is where we grew from, and they will always be with you, and education can help us to make our life better.
3. In the values shuffle, were you tempted to go to a side you did not really agree with? Why could it be hard to stand up for your values (Use Peer pressure and hypocrasy) in you answer.
Because when you have some values that are really different from all the others, and you were the only one who stand at the other side, you would feel the pressure from being different, and not brave enough to stand out.
4. What are morals? Do values and ethics always match? What are the consequences of immoral behavior (not religion).
Morals are when you doing something that is right and good, and other people agree with it. Values and ethics doesn't always match. Consequences of immoral

Bicentennial Man Blog
The laws of robotics are important, because they could protect both human and robots. Robot must obey to human, and they may not harm human, but they also need to protect themselves. It should add one more law that robot must not harm themselves even a human ordered them to do so. Because in the movie, Grace ordered Andrew to jump down the window, and caused damage to him.
If a machine has human-level intelligence, and function entirely independent, it should be considered "alive", because they work like a human, they also have emotions and feelings. Artificial intelligent machine such as Andrew should be owned by another person, but this is not a form of slavery. Because this is what a intelligent robot created for, they do works for human, but human shouldn't treat him as a slave, instead of a worker.
When little Miss Dies, Andrew is sad that all the people he loves die. It isn't worth at all to be immortal if everyone else is not. Watching everyone that you love, and care about dies, and you can't do anything about it. They are all leaving one by one and leaving you behind, life become sad and meaningless. Andrew's upgrades have transformed him from mechanical machine to artificial human. He tries to be declared human by the world government. The reason they rejected him is because he has a positronic brain and he will be immortal, but this is invalid because he can do whatever human can.
I believe AI is going to happen, because nothing is impossible in the world. Our technology is growing faster and faster, and computer speed is also growing, even faster than Moore's Law. Like the robot ASIMO that Japan invented, even though it's not an AI, but it still can work pretty well like a human. People could keep improving it with technology.
AI will be an overall bad thing. In the movie, the best case is Andrew can help the family, and take care of the family really well. And he can also learn from books in very short time, and created a gift to little Miss to make her happy. The worth thing is Andrew learned about history of freedom from books, and he also declare freedom to his family. It's lucky that Andrew is a good robot, but what if Andrew is a bad robot? People bought the robot is for helping the family and their house works. If every robot wants freedom, then why should people buy a robot? A bad robot could also do something bad outside after they got freedom from their family.
My feeling about the movie Bicentennial Man is that the movie is very interesting. And I also feel very please that a robot has human intelligence and virtuous. It was really realistic. It stimulate thoughts about the issue and it is also a valuable use of class time because it shows how a true AI look like in real life.

Blog 2: Flatline
1. Summary of Flatline.
This is a story describing the future AI in the society. The computers starts becoming smarter than human, and replacing human's work. Many people want to destroy the AI because they want to back to the time when human are still in control and not all rely on AI.
2. Is AI's role good or bad? Why?
AI is both good and bad. It's good because it helps people do many things that human can't reach, and they also save a lot of time for human. It's also bad because people start relying on them, when they were without AI, they are not be able to do anything.
3. Why do they want to destroy it? Do they succeed?
They want to destroy it because they are taking over their daily life. They don't want this to happen. But they didn't succeed.
4. Is this a likely future of AI? Why or why not?
This is a likely future of AI, because the AI is growing faster and faster, people won't be able to stop it, and the people also need them so much.

A.I Blog
1. Would real computer grow faster than what Moore's Law predicted?
Yes, according to the graph that I made between actual and predicted, real computer grows faster than Moore's Law predicted.
2. Do you think the Turing Test can identify true AI? Why?
Yes, because true AI is when a computer can respond and think like a human. During the Turing Test, a person is sitting in front of a computer and talking to either a real person or a computer which he won't know.
If the person talking to a computer and can't distinguish whether he is talking to a person or a computer, then the computer is a true AI.
3. Is AI good or bad?
I think AI is bad, and start making people rely on them. They may replace many human works, and make our next generation won't be able to do anything.
